HOW WELL DOES PERSIST YIELD IN MICHIGAN? |
YIELD DATA FROM MICHIGAN
MICHIGAN Michigan State University planted a new forage trial in May of 2009. They were able to only get two cutting off the plots. While the trial is in its infancy, the initial data again shows Persist a higher yielding variety over Potomac. In fact, the first cutting was precisely 8% higher tha Potomac, consistent with data from Kentucky, Ohio, and Tennessee. You can watch this trial data at Michigan's Forage Information Systems site.
Now you know why we say, “Plant for Keeps!”
