HOW WELL DOES PERSIST YIELD IN KENTUCKY? |

YIELD DATA FROM LEXINGTON, PRINCETON, AND QUICKSAND, KY While still in the experimental stage, Persist was included in variety trials at Lexington and Princeton, KY in 1993 and 1994. The plots were seeded in mid-September 1992. Ten years later, Persist was included in variety trials at Lexington and Quicksand, KY in a trial sown in September and October 2003, respectively. Then in 2006 trials were planted again in Quicksand, and Lexington. Finally, more trials were planted in 2007.
SUMMARY: The University of Kentucky staff has put together the following chart consolidating their findings to summarize the last TEN YEARS. The data is listed as a percentage of the men of the commercial varieties entered in each specific trials. According to UK, the "varieties that have performed better than average over many years and at several locations have very stable performance." Persist is the HIGHEST RATED variety!
